Purchases are subject to the following Terms of Use
Definitions
1.1 "We," "our" and "us" means Presidential Card & Shoppers Advantage Pty Ltd ABN 82 565 376 511, the operators of Shoppers Advantage.
1.2 "The Service" means the Shopper Advantage service provided by us. Acting as your agent.
2.1 As a consumer service organisation, Shoppers Advantage does not stock, sell or manufacture products of any kind but acts as your agent through our network of suppliers.
2.2 The difference between the price payable by you and the total price paid by us on your behalf to the supplier, the transport company and the providers of all other relevant services will be made for our account.
2.3 We shall have the right to modify or alter the operation of the Service from time to time and we shall notify you of any changes affecting your use of the service.
Membership
3.1 Membership and provision of the Service is only available in mainland Australia and Tasmania.
3.2 If you are subject to a Membership Agreement with us and purchase goods using this Service, you are also subject to these Terms of Use. If there is conflict or inconsistency between the Membership Agreement and these Terms of Use, then the Membership Agreement will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
3.3 If you use our website to purchase goods, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
3.4 Termination of your membership shall not affect any obligations incurred before the termination.
Ordering
4.1 All merchandise is ordered from the information supplied by the Purchaser, confirmed at the time of ordering and by the Order Confirmation Invoice.
4.2 Payment for goods shall be made at the time of placing the order. Payment for orders made over the internet shall be made by credit card accepted by us. Payment for orders made over the telephone shall be made by credit/debit card accepted by us or by cheque or money order in which case an additional delay may occur while your payment arrives and cheque clears.
4.3 Any payment that you make for goods supplied pursuant to the Service shall be held in a Company account until such time as goods are despatched.
4.4 Orders are accepted by us subject to availability. If the goods are unavailable, we shall suggest an alternative to you or refund any advance payment made.
4.5 Goods are not sent on approval. However, if you receive incorrect merchandise or damaged goods due to an error on the part of a supplier, we will immediately arrange for the error to be remedied. In this case you do NOT use or totally unpack the incorrect item. You must contact us immediately.
4.6 If you wish to cancel an order, we shall use our best endeavours to comply with your request. However, if goods have been despatched to you at the time of the request to cancel or the goods were a special order made to order, we shall not be obliged to refund payment made by you, but we shall use our best endeavours to seek a refund from the supplier involved with all due expediency.
4.7 If any goods purchased by you are defective we shall forthwith at your request attempt to obtain redress on your behalf.
Delivery
5.1 Delivery is arranged through a number of Carriers whose selection is dependent on the nature of the goods involved.
5.2 When you order through the service the retail price quoted is not inclusive of delivery charges.
5.3 If delivery cannot be affected, the Carriers will leave a card requesting you to contact them to arrange a mutually convenient time for pickup or delivery.
5.4 If you have ordered more than one item, they may arrive at different times.
5.5 Should delivery dates arranged between Carrier and the purchaser fail to be met through the fault of the Member, the Member may be liable for additional freight costs of $35.00.
5.6 Delivery dates are quoted in good faith from information received from Suppliers and Carriers. We cannot be held responsible for any delays which may be incurred in supply.
Damage
6.1 At the time of delivery, products should be signed for unless there is evidence of external damage, in which case, the signature should be qualified with "damaged" and Shoppers Advantage notified immediately. Save the carton and packing materials for inspection and possible return.
Faulty
7.1 Save the carton and packing for 14 days from date of receipt for possible return, in case the item proves faulty in this period.
Installation
8.1 Professional installation services must be used where required. Names and telephone numbers will be found in your local "Yellow Pages." Cost of installation is not included in the price of the appliances, unless specified. If electrical goods are wrongly installed then any damage arising will not allow return of the goods.
Guarantee Card
9.1 Where applicable, products are sold with full manufacturer's warranties. Warranty cards should be completed to show the supplier as "Supplied through The Presidential Card / Shoppers Advantage." ABN 82 565 376 511. Administrator of Shoppers Advantage.
Service
10.1 Generally, details of your local authorised service agent can be obtained from manufacturers. If you have any service problems either during the guarantee period or afterwards, contact Shoppers Advantage for assistance.
10.2 Where products are supplied with manufacturers instruction manual, eg. electrical/gas appliances, these should be read before attempted set-up.
Product Descriptions
11.1 Shoppers Advantage and our suppliers attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on our website is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error free.
11.2 If the product purchased by you is not as described, please contact us immediately.
Pricing
12.1 Prices are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of Australian GST (Goods and Services Tax.)
12.2 When you place an order using the Service the price quoted by us shall be inclusive of service and delivery charges, but not installation, unless specifically stated.
12.3 "Guaranteed lowest prices" - if within 30 days of us accepting your order you find an identical item advertised at a lower retail price by an Australian entity (excluding liquidation sales), send Shoppers Advantage verifiable proof (copy of advertisement) and we will refund the difference. All prices and models exclude freight and handling and are correct at time of publication. Subject to availability.
Commercial Sales
13.1 Commercial prices are based on a job-by-job basis and the guaranteed lowest prices* may not be achieved/honoured on a commercial sales quote or transaction.
